Failure - The Door To Success

"I am making everything new!" (Revelation 21:5). Nobody is ever a failure until he accepts himself as one. Maybe your business is gradually falling apart, or your marriage is under a lot of strain. Perhaps everything worthwhile in life seems out of reach. You may have reached a crossroad and are now wondering if it is worth keeping on or if it would not perhaps be better to throw in the towel. In unpleasant situations like this there are certain dangers that you should try to avoid. Always be aware of bitterness that might take root in your spirit. Perhaps you have been wronged, but if you allow yourself to become bitter, you will not be able to think straight or act constructively. A Faith That Brings Life

"He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!" (Mark 12:27).  Spiritually there is nothing sadder than having faith that is dead; faith that was once vibrant with energy and life. It was once filled with joy and gladness. Then, due to neglect, it waned unnoticed and eventually died, or it was smothered by circumstances and matters that received higher priority. A dead or dying faith is interspersed with lame excuses, procrastination and increasing bitterness. Fortunately God never changes. He is still the Author and Perfecter of your faith. That is why you have to realize that any decline in your spiritual life is your own fault and can never be blamed on God. This realization and confession is a good starting point for spiritual revival.
